Art Banks
These displays of original works by local artists are on loan to schools for a month in the spring.  Teachers are invited to schedule age-appropriate docent programs for their classes during that time.

We can adapt any presentation to fit your time schedule and your students’ grade level.

Would you like something a little different?

Tell us what you have in mind and we will do our best to accommodate you.

As Museum Docents, we  enthusiastically share our knowledge and special love of art with Humboldt County students and teachers.  We bring to the classroom videos, slides, fine art prints, and art objects from the Morris Graves Museum of Art.

NOTE
A teacher’s presence is important to ensure that enjoyable art activities follow the docent’s lessons.

To maximize student participation, programs have been designed to be given to a single class.
