Sunday, February 19: Good Vibes
Matt McClimon, Mike LaBolle & Jonathan Kipp on vibraphone.
Sunday, March 19: Laura Hennings Trio
Laura Hennings has been performing in Humboldt County for over ten years, singing with The Topaz Trio and The Soulful Sidekicks. Adding American Jazz Standards and Blues to her repertoire, she brings her smooth, sultry voice, reminiscent of Billie Holiday and Diana Krall, to the Morris Graves' Wine and Jazz Sunday Concerts. Accompanied by the superb trio of local musicians, Tim Randles on piano, Baron Wolfe on stand-up bass, and Jonathan Claasen on drums, they will perform popular ballads and upbeat swing tunes from musicals, big band hits and top 40 favorites. With the Redwood Coast Music Festival coming at the end of March, this the the perfect opportunity to get in the mood with a warm and entertaining afternoon of classical songs of the 1930‘s - 1950‘s!
Sunday, April 23: Vintage Jazz
Featuring guitarist Kevin Danel, bassist Baron Wolfe, and drummer Bill Moehnke.
