Arts Alive!

Join us for FROGBITE at Arts Alive! at the Morris Graves Museum of Art on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 6–9 p.m. FROGBITE is an original, eclectic four-piece band featuring Lisa C. Sharry (songwriter, lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Paul Agpawa (lead guitar), Shawn O'Connor (bass), and Clayton Bennett (drums). Formed in 2012 around Lisa’s heartfelt originals—shaped by her life in Humboldt County since 1973—FROGBITE blends rock, country, jazz, blues, and everything in between. With musical roots supported by family influences and formal training, the band has enjoyed enthusiastic audience support since 2013. Paul and Lisa have collaborated musically since 1981, while Shawn and Clayton, longtime friends since third grade, joined the group in 2025. Known for their family-friendly performances, crowd-mingling wireless moments, thoughtful volume control, and even frog toys for young fans, FROGBITE creates a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Their versatile sound “touches your heart and soul,” offering songs about love, relationships, and life under the redwoods—and reminding listeners, as one lyric says, to “wake up and look around… you might not get another chance.” The band is proud to support Arts Alive and the artists of our Humboldt community, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and joyful evening of music for everyone.
