Blues Through the Years
Join the Humboldt Arts Council at the Morris Graves Museum of Art for an afternoon of great music on Sunday, June 15th at 3:00pm. Enjoy Wine & Jazz with Blues Through the Years and hear acoustic blues from talented local musicians! Blues Through the Years consists of Ron Perry, blues harp and vocals; Jim Lahman, guitar and vocals; Dale Cash, bass and vocal; and Bill Moehnke, drums and vocals.
Blues Through the Years will perform blues compositions from the 1920s through the present day. The group will present tunes with a historical perspective… The audience will enjoy performances of many familiar blues tunes and gain interesting facts and stories from the performers. The band will also perform several original compositions and tell stories related to those compositions. The members of the band have roughly 200+ years of experience performing the blues—Ron Perry and Bill Moehnke are locals and Dale Cash and Jim Lahman have been living in Humboldt for many years.
Things are sure to get festive as the wine and tunes begin to flow at the Morris Graves Museum of Art’s monthly event, Wine & Jazz with Blues Through the Years on Sunday, June 15th at 3:00pm! Join us in the Rotunda for an afternoon with these talented local musicians and don’t forget your dancing shoes!
