Second Saturday - Family Arts Day

FREE for children 17 and under, FREE for museum members, $5 for adults, $2 for students/seniors/military

On the Second Saturday of every month from 2 to 4pm, come explore the museum, be inspired by current exhibitions, and create hands-on arts projects designed specially for youth and families to make together. Art educators will welcome youth and families to the museum to interpret and appreciate the arts through hands-on learning.

Mini Masters

Mini Masters is a free monthly program that helps children ages 2-8 discover the love of reading and learning. Every month, kids and families listen to story time together, make an art project, watch videos, and take home a free book to keep practicing reading together at home. Mini Masters takes place every third Sunday of the month from 12:00-2:00pm.

Has your child recently taken an art class at the museum? It may be on view!

Art created in youth art camps and classes is exhibited for public viewing at the Humboldt County Office of Education, in the main hallway of the main building located at 901 Myrtle Ave, Eureka, CA 95501. Currently on display are artworks created by students who attended Summer Art Camp 2018. Come see the creative and original art works of Humboldt County's youth !
